Well, no offense. I needed it really quick, so had to use another backup
tool because the data I had to save was huge (actually even more than a
full DVD).

I understand, but don't have the necessary skill to help or do it myself
in Python. I don't even fully understand what could be so different
between a CD and a DVD aside the size of the media.

Don't worry, you're not supposed to be available at all time for a work
you've done and gave generously to the Community. Do your best, and if
it may be useful to some, they'll let you know.
