It sure looks like Cedar Backup is moving on to its next configured peer
after successfully staging the first one. Do you possibly have the same
host listed twice in configuration, perhaps once as a local peer and
once as a remote peer?
If you are convinced that your configuration is sane, and you can
reproduce the problem, please run the 'stage' action with --debug
enabled and send me (privately!) the relevant portions of the log, along
with your configuration file. I'll look it over and see what I can come
up with.
